Children

Climbing, playing in the water or starting a hike at Bezoekerscentrum De Meinweg. Around Bezoekerscentrum De Meinweg all ages will find something to enjoy! Bezoekerscentrum De Meinweg is the start of several (educational) hiking routes like the Kabouterpad. Further information and a backpack for the Kabouterpad are available at Brasserie De Boshut.

‘Het Speelbos’
‘Het Speelbos’ surrounds the Bezoekerscentrum / Brasserie De Boshut and can be clearly seen from the terrace.
In the Speelbos several climbing installations have been arranged for your children to go wild. The many installations offer excitement for any age group, from the water pump to the expansive climbing forest.
The play area is accessible free of charge and open year round.

Children’s party
Enjoy the Speelbos, a guided hike through De Meinweg or traverse the Kabouterpad and finish off the day with a delicious meal at Brasserie De Boshut.

Children’s parties

 

Brasserie De Boshut and its surroundings are the perfect bacKasteel Daelenbroeckrop for a fun and exciting children’s party. From De Boshut you can enjoy several educational hiking routes, build huts or follow the forest ranger on an exciting quest! Perfect for children from 4 through 12 years old.

Below you will find several packages for a perfect children’s party. Big or small, everyone is welcome in and around Brasserie De Boshut. During the party the play area can be enjoyed free of charge.
 

De Kabouter

4-6 years, 11,25 per child
At Brasserie De Boshut there will be a backpack with the materials needed to look for and find Kabouters. With a pointed cap on your head you will walk from 500 to 1500 metres. Along the way you will hear a story from the ‘Kabouter-klapkaart’ and fulfill Kabouter tasks. Look for the Kabouter signage to make sure you follow the correct route. At the end of the route you can make a nature painting as a souvenir. All equipment found within the backpack and the backpack itself can be taken home.
The wooden Kabouter can be seen outside, guiding the way.

Additional activities
These activities take place at BOSHOTEL VLODROP, but can also be arranged for De Boshut. This will cost 50,00 extra due to the transportation of materials between BOSHOTEL VLODROP and De Boshut.

-        Archery 1,5 hours, maximum of 24 persons, 13,50 per person
-        Bootcamp for kids 12,50 per person (minimum of 4 children)

A specially designed bootcamp for children set up by our instructor to take place in the forest. The exercises will be adjusted to match the level and age of the participants. To start off there will be a short warming-up (about 15 min.), after which there will be a circuit style training with all kinds of materials like tires and ropes (20-30 min.). The bootcamp will be topped off with a fun game.
